How we work

Senior engineers. Focused engagements.

You work directly on our clients' WooCommerce stores as part of the Tvarkom squad, on the backend only.

  • Remote, contract-based: Engagements are scoped per project. Work from anywhere with good overlap with European time zones.
  • Backend only: No themes, page builders or design work. You fix databases, queries, caching, integrations and infrastructure.
  • Fixed-scope work: Most engagements are a written performance diagnostic or a 5-day backend sprint, with a clear list of fixes and a checkout stress test at the end.
  • Production discipline: Profiling before changing, safe rollouts on live stores, and clear written handoffs.

    Own checkout performance and backend changes on high-traffic WooCommerce stores, from custom plugins to HPOS migrations.

    • Deep knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce internals: hooks, REST API, order storage
    • HPOS and custom order table migrations on live stores
    • Profiling slow checkouts and fixing them at the code level

    Find and remove the database bottlenecks behind slow stores, and patch them safely in production.

    • Slow query log analysis, EXPLAIN plans and custom indexing
    • Cleaning wp_options autoload, postmeta and transient bloat
    • Diagnosing locks and deadlocks under peak traffic

    Build the async pipelines that keep WooCommerce stores in sync with ERP, WMS and logistics systems.

    • Go microservices, queues, webhooks and retry logic

    • Comfortable reading PHP to integrate cleanly with WooCommerce
